I got tired of working on my story outline, so I messed around with some techniques I've been thinking about for doing the backgrounds. Again, just throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks:
Not the most ambitious example, but hopefully tomorrow I can find the time to try something a little more involved.

Hey that's pretty nice, Pav.
I too am in pre-production and kind of going through the same thing you are...sigh. It's never easy. I feel like I'm relearning every time I start a new project. :\
=s=
Thanks!
I'm definitely struggling to stay on top of everything. There are so many things I want to do with both the art & story and it's hard to keep everything straight in my head without suffering paralysis by analysis. That's going to be the hardest part of doing this rather than the work itself, I think.
That said, I think things are actually moving along pretty well. I just have to keep in mind that big creative projects like this don't evolve at a linear rate.
I'm working on some more proof of concept stuff that I'll post soon.
Thanks again,
Pav
